The next major release for the most used CMS in the world WordPress is almost at our doorstep with the release of WordPress 4.0 Release Candidate.
The newest version WordPress 4.0 Release Candidate is a major release and is due Next week.

WordPress 4.0 Release Candidate comes with a number of new features as listed below:

Multiple Installation Languages

The first step of the installation now asks you to select multiple languages. There is also an option in the admin area to change your language settings.

Previews of Embedded Urls

The visual editor has now been upgraded and supports Previews of embedded Urls. If you embed a YouTube Video for example, it will show the video in visual mode.

Grid View – New Media Library Interface

The Media Section now has the grid view as default

Plugin Discovery, Installation Upgrade
