How to insert images, galleries and PDF files

Inserting Images

  • Place your cursor where you would like the image to appear, and click on the Add Media icon found directly above your editor.
  • The media library will open up allowing you to search and choose previously uploaded images to insert
  • If the image is not already in the media library, please click on the Upload tab to upload a new image
  • Once the image is uploaded, you can select the image and click on Insert to insert the image on your page/blog post.

Inserting Image Galleries

  • Place your cursor where you would like the image gallery to appear, and click on the Add Media icon found directly above your editor.
  • The media library will open up allowing you to search and choose previously uploaded images to insert
  • If the image is not already in the media library, please click on the Upload tab to upload the new images for the gallery
  • Once the images are uploaded, please select Create Gallery on the left hand tab
  • Select Multiple images and Click on “Create a new Gallery on the bottom”
  • On the next screen, enter captions and change specs of the Gallery  and click on Insert gallery
  • This will insert the image gallery on the cursor location

Inserting PDF files

  • Place your cursor where you would like the PDF link to appear, and click on the Add Media icon found directly above your editor.
  • The media library will open up allowing you to search and choose previously uploaded PDF files to insert
  • If the PDF file is not already in the media library, please click on the Upload tab to upload a new file
  • Once the PDF is uploaded, you can select the PDF and click on Insert
  • This will insert a link to the PDF file on your cursor location

Inserting Links

  • A link can be created either inside posts , or inside pages
  • Highlight the text that you want to become a link. Then press the link button (11th button on the first row, next to “right align” button
  • In the dialog box enter the URL of a link (Please make sure you include the http:// in front of the url).
  • If the link is to an external website, check the box that says “Open link in a new window/tab”
  • Click on Add Link button.
  • This will turn the highlighted text into a link
