    1. Open Outlook
    2. Click File

    6. Click Manually configure server settings or additional server types, then click next

    10. Select the account type you wish to use. We will be using IMAP for this demo.
    11. Enter the incoming and outgoing mail servers. On a typical setup, this is mail.example.com where example.com would be replaced with your actual domain name.

    12. Enter your email address into the User Name field

    14. Click More Settings

    15. Click the Outgoing Server tab

    16. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

    17. Click on Advanced and put 2525 as port for outgoing server (replace 25 with 2525)
    18. Press OK
    19. Click Finish

  • Setting up NetON email in Outlook 2003

    1. In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > E-mail Accounts.
    2. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select “Add a new e-mail account” and click Next.
    3. For your server type, select IMAP and click Next (IMAP keeps the folder structure in sync with webmail).
    4. On the Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP) window, enter your information as follows:
      Your Name: Enter your first and last name.
      E-mail Address: Enter your e-mail address.
      User Name: Enter your e-mail address, again.
      Password: Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account.
      Incoming mail server (IMAP): Enter mail.<your-domain>.com.au for your incoming mail server.
      Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter mail.<your-domain>.com.au for your outgoing mail server.
    5. Click “More Settings.”
    6. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the “Outgoing Server” tab.
    7. Select “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.
    8. If everything is configured properly, and you still have problems sending then it’s likely your ISP is blocking port 25. To remedy this, click on the advanced tab on the more settings page and change the SMTP port to 587.
    9. Finish the setup and you’re set!
